The H2Accelerate Trucks project at the European Hydrogen Week 2023

Project partners IVECO Group, IRU and the project coordination (SINTEF) presented the project on different occasions and met with key stakeholders

Last week, November 20th – 24th, the European Hydrogen Week welcomed the Hydrogen community (from all over the globe) in Brussels with booths from industrial, research, national and other representations. High-level political discussions and project dedicated sessions were spread out over the 4-day conference.

The EU Hydrogen week was organised by Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership.

The H2Accelerate Trucks project was represented by several of its partners with Iveco Group and IRU (Sabina Fiorot and Ted Zotos) taking the opportunity to present the flagship project during the session dedicated to the H2Haul project on the 21st of November. The project coordinator Dr. Steffen Møller-Holst dedicated a corner of SINTEF’s booth to the project, sharing key project information throughout the event and attracting interested stakeholders and discussing the pivotal role of hydrogen as fuel for heavy duty vehicles.

Additionally, and in the framework of the European Hydrogen Week, senior decision makers from H2Accelerate Partnership’s member companies (bp, Daimler Truck AG, Iveco Group, Linde, Shell, TotalEnergies, Volvo Group) met in Brussels reiterating their commitment to working together to accelerate the next stage of scale-up in the sector.
